The Nevada County Land Trust mission is to enrich the deep community
connection with our land. To accomplish this, the Land Trust offers
a number of recreation and educational activities for our diverse
community.

Treks
Guides include local experts in history, mining engineering, ornithology,
astronomy, archeology, botany, biology, entomology, geology and
ecology.
Treks Through Time - venture into vernal pools,
pioneer trails and other intriguing areas.
Treks For Health - short walks on Tuesday mornings
for people looking for good exercise on our beautiful community
trails.
Armchair Treks - entertaining and educational lectures,
slide shows and movies, held in winter, at Madelyn Helling Library.
Treks for People with Limited Mobility - hikes
on local community trails with ADA compliance…including for
wheelchairs.
Design a Trek - custom treks for a private group
or organization.
