Trails don’t just happen. Nevada County Land Trust staff, volunteers and other organizations work together to design, build and maintain more than 13 miles of local trails that we can all use and enjoy.   

Trails that we are currently working on include:

Hirschman Pond Trail, Nevada City
Deer Creek Trails, Nevada City
Brunswick Basin Trail, Grass Valley
Rattlesnake Road Trails, Grass Valley
Woodpecker Preserve Trail, Nevada City
Wildflower Ridge, Grass Valley

The many miles of trails in Western Nevada County allow access to our beautiful landscapes for recreation, education, exploration, solitude and inspiration. Trails take us to good physical and mental health by providing us with a chance to breathe fresh air, get our hearts pumping, and escape from our daily stresses.
