Over the past six years Nevada County Land Trust's largest annual fundraiser, the Stars benefit concert event, has evolved into a world-class outdoor music experience. Since that time the concert has built a solid reputation for offering top musicians in a setting worth the price of the ticket alone.

In addition to the very important goal of fundraising, the concert event provides an opportunity for Land Trust members and members of our community to gather and enjoy exceptional performers in an intimate and friendly setting. Past concerts in the annual series have featured such luminaries as Dan Hicks and The Hot Licks, Roy Rogers and The Delta Rhythm Kings, Dr. John, Ritchie Havens, Leon Russell, Tuck and Patti, Mary Youngblood, Jessie Colin Young, Leo Kottke, America and Nils Lofgren, plus a wide variety of local Nevada County performers.

As with the 2008 concert,this year Stars at the Peak will take place on the beautiful grounds of the Pilot Peak Winery. On-site concert goers always enjoy incredible music, delicious food and drinks, a wide variety of Pilot Peak wines, great beers, interactive community partner displays and a high-quality silent auction; all atop an oak studded peak overlooking Pilot Peak and the expansive beauty of Penn Valley.
