Annual Trails Appeal: Build a Foot of Trail for $2.50!
Trails don’t just happen. Nevada County Land Trust staff, volunteers and other organizations work together to design, build and maintain more than 13 miles of local trails that we can all use and enjoy.
Exciting news! Hahn Family Challenge Grant from 2009 has been extended to this year’s trails campaign. This special Matching Grant Donation has been generously underwritten by Land Trust members Holger and Tacy Hahn. If we can raise half of the funds needed to develop the Wildflower Ridge Trail that traverses through Hells Half Acre and will eventually connect Grass Valley with Rough and Ready, the Hahn’s will donate the remaining half to complete the project. That means we must raise $6,600 in order to qualify for the matching grant. There is a time limit on the availability of these funds so please make a donation today.

Donate a Trail Easement:
A pubic trail easement legally allows people use a trail to get across your property for recreational purposes. Click Here for What's a Trail Easement? Most trail easements also give the holder of the easement, for example Nevada County Land Trust, the right to build and maintain the trail.
