Educational and inspirational.  This series is for anyone desiring to learning more about the wonder, beauty and rich history of our region through total emersion in nature.

Join us as we explore the diversity of plant life, from vernal pools to alpine forests, trek along historical pioneer trails, visit old mining sites, and visit some of the most intriguing destinations throughout our community.

Outings are guided by individuals known for expertise in their field. From geology to geography, photography to zoology, our volunteer guides share their vast knowledge of our community with enthusiasm and humor. Check out our Trek Leaders Hall of Fame.

Treks through Time: hikes guided by experts in a particular field of study throughout the Foothills and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada

EquiTreks: for the horse set, these are a great way to get out on horseback and explore areas that are usually closed to the public.

Armchair Treks: nature lecture series, generally during weather when getting outdoors is impractical
