Wilderness First Aid Training with Bobbie Foster

June 23, 2012

Saturday, June 23 to Sunday, June 24

Wilderness_First_Aid.jpgWilderness First Aid knowledge is different from your basic First Aid: when you are out in the wilderness there may be no available help for an accident victim except for you – no fire department on the way nor ambulance rushing towards your location.  If you spend time in the wilderness, having WFA training could save someone’s life.

Bobbie Foster of Foster Calm will train us in how to assess an accident victim’s situation, what steps to take to protect yourself and assist the person in need, what to do in what types of situations, what to have in your first aid tool box, and much, much more.  This is an interactive training and you will leave with the knowledge to make you a better, and safer, wilderness partner.

Cost: Bobbie is offering a substantially discounted price for the workshop - $100 per person for the weekend. Sorry, no passes.

You will receive a certificate, good for three years, at the end of the training.
