John Skinner was one of Nevada County Land Trust’s most ardent supporters and a good friend. He was mentor to Melony Vance, NCLT’s Treks Coordinator and leader of this hike. This outing was one of John’s favorites because it has it all: a peak with fabulous views, an historical mining ditch, ancient petroglyphs, and a lake to swim in!
