Hirschman Trail- Cement Hill Trailhead Grand Opening

October 02, 2011, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Join Land Trust Trails Coordinator and master trail builder Bill Haire and his crew as they lead us along the newest trail built by the Land Trust - the Cement Hill ADA accessible trailhead to Hirschman Pond. The pond is about a quarter-mile down the trail where we will see evidence of hydraulic mining.

For those that wish to continue on we will then hike about five miles along the portion of the trail that was completed last fall.

This trail was created in partnership with Nevada City and is located on City land. We're all pretty proud of it!

Level: Easy to Moderate
Suggested Donation: $12 for Members or $17 for Not-yet Members
